Delhi Premier League 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after West Delhi Lions vs Purani Dilli-6 (Updated) ft. Priyansh Arya & Ayush Badoni

On Saturday, August 31, the Delhi Premier League 2024 season continued with North Delhi Strikers and South Delhi Superstarz squaring off in the 23rd match while Purani Dilli-6 and West Delhi Lions met in the next match.

South Delhi Superstarz batted first and set a target of massive target of 308 runs for five wickets. Priyansh Arya (120 off 50) and skipper Ayush Badoni (165 off 55) forged a humongous 286-run partnership while Sarthak Ray added 11 run-a-ball. Arya also hammered six sixes in a Manan Bharadwaj-over.

In reply, Vijayran’s 62 and 32 runs each from Vaibhav Rawal and Yajas Sharma went in vain as the Superstarz bowlers dominated with Raghav Singh’s three-wicket haul and Digvesh Rathi’s two wickets.

In the following game, Purani Dilli-6 bowled out West Delhi Lions 139/10. Krish Yadav top-scored 43 while Raghav Singh took three wickets. In reply, Arpit Rana (20) and Yug Gupta (32) gave a fine start. However, Keshav Dalal (47*) and Lalit Yadav (17*) chased the target in four overs to stay in the playoffs race.

Priyansh smacked an outstanding 50-ball 120-run knock, featuring 10 fours and as many sixes, to strengthen his top spot with 576 runs. His teammate Ayush Badoni also produced an excellent 165-run inning, comprising eight fours and 19 sixes to retain the second position.

Himmat Singh (279) and Anuj Rawat (276) from East Delhi Riders, Dhruv Kaushik (266), and Arpit Rana (262) also remained in the next four spots, respectively. Vaibhav Kandpal (251) and Sujal Singh (224) also held their seventh and eighth rank, respectively. However, Krish Yadav moved to ninth after scoring 43 runs in the last game while Vansh Bedi slipped to 10th with 221 runs each.

Aayush Singh Thakur claimed four wickets and moved from second to first with 16 wickets. Meanwhile, Simarjeet Singh slipped to second and Digvesh Rathi retained third position with 13 wickets apiece.

Harsh Tyagi (11) remained fourth while Sumit Kumar and Prince Yadav retained the next two spots with 10 wickets each. Similarly, Anirudh Chowdhary and Kuldip Yadav are still ranked seventh and eighth with nine wickets. Suyash Sharma with eight wickets and Mayank Rawat with seven complete the top-10 Delhi Premier League 2024 most wickets list.
