The Delhi Premier League saw an exciting couple of games take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Friday (August 30). West Delhi Lions faced off against South Delhi Superstarz in the first game, while North Delhi Strikers challenged Central Delhi Kings in the second.
The Lions batted first and got off to a flyer with a 77-run stand between Krish Yadav and Ankit Kumar (28). Yadav went on to slam 106 off 68, with eight fours and six sixes, as they posted 178 on the board.
Raghav Singh picked two wickets for the Superstarz. Priyanshu (24 off 9) and Ayush Badoni (30 off 10) were the key contributors, as the Superstarz scored 123 in 15 overs and lost by just four runs (D/L method).
Meanwhile, the second game was reduced to 10 overs due to rain. With major contributions from Sarthak Ranjan (29) and Yajas Sharma (23), the Strikers put up a score of 100/8. Then, the Kings ended the game on 91/9, with Lakshay Thareja (24*) as the top batter. Siddhartha Solanki picked up two wickets for the Strikers.

After a 24-run knock on Friday, Priyansh Arya is still the top batter of the tournament, with 456 runs in seven games at a strike rate of 186.12 and a top score of 107.
Ayush Badoni added 30 on Friday to retain his second position with 350 runs at a phenomenal strike rate of over 200. Himmat Singh is in third position with 279 runs in seven appearances. Meanwhile, Anuj Rawat is in the fourth position with 276 runs in seven outings.
Dhruv Kaushik could add only eight to his tally on Friday, as he has 258 runs, with a top score of 68. Arpit Rana is in sixth position with 242 runs to his name in eight games. Vaibhav Kandpal contributed 12 to take his tally to 228 runs and is seventh in the charts.
Sujal Singh (224) and Vansh Bedi (221) are placed eighth and ninth, while Ankit Kumar contributed 28 to take his tally to 204 and take the 10th position.

Simarjeet Singh maintained his dominance at the top with 13 wickets in seven games at an average of 16.46. Meanwhile, Aayush Singh Thakur is also still in second place with 12 scalps to his name.
Digvesh Rathi took a solitary wicket and climbed to the third position with 11 wickets in seven games. Harsh Tyagi, also with the same number of dismissals, is ranked fourth.
Sumit Kumar took two on Friday and is now in fifth position with 10 wickets in seven games. Anirudh Chowdhary is in sixth position with nine wickets and best figures of 4/30.
Prince Yadav is ranked seventh with eight wickets to his name, while Kuldip Yadav added one to this tally to get placed eighth with eight wickets. Ayush Badoni and Mayank Rawat take the ninth and 10th positions, respectively, with seven scalps apiece.
