The Delhi Premier League 2024 season continued on Monday, August 19, with Central Delhi Kings and North Delhi Strikers squaring off in the fourth match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Central Delhi Kings were sent in to bat first. Dhruv Kaushik and Hiten Dalal (27) put together a solid opening stand, scoring 31 runs for the first wicket. Kaushik then teamed up with skipper Yash Dhull (11) to add another 34 runs for the second wicket.
Kaushik (63) continued his fine form, building a crucial 59-run partnership with Jonty Sindhu (42) for the third wicket. In the middle order, Vishant Bhati and Keshav Dabas contributed 14 runs each, helping the Kings set a target of 176 runs.
In reply, Vaibhav Kandpal’s 60 off 35, Yash Dabas’ 56 off 33, and Yash Bhatia’s 26-ball 34-run unbeaten knock guided North Delhi Strikers to a comfortable seven-wicket win.

Vaibhav Kandpal (89) scored a 60-run knock in the previous game and secured the top spot in the most runs leaderboard. Similarly, Yash Bhatia (71) also made a significant leap, moving from seventh to second place with a 34-run knock in the same match.
Meanwhile, another North Delhi batter, Yash Dabas, climbed to the third position with 66 runs after scoring 56 runs against Central Delhi.
Dhruv Kaushik of Central Delhi surged to fourth place with a 63-run effort in his first game on Monday.
Arpit Rana, who previously held the top spot, slipped to fifth with 59 runs, while Ayush Badoni dropped to sixth, sharing the position with his teammate Priyansh Arya, both tallying 57 runs.
Jonty Sindhu’s 42-run innings in the last game brought his total to 57, securing him the eighth position.
Rounding out the top 10, Vansh Bedi and Vaibhav Rawal both sit with 47 runs each.

Akhil Chaudhary (4), Yatish Singh (4), and Himanshu Chauhan (3) are still ranked in the top three spots, respectively.
Meanwhile, Suyash Sharma moved to fourth position after taking two wickets in the previous match. Simarjeet Singh descended from fourth to fifth with two wickets.
Shivam Sharma, Raunak Waghela, Manan Bhardwaj, and Anirudh Chowdhary are ranked from sixth to ninth, respectively, with two wickets each.
Hersh Tyagi rounds off the top 10 list after taking a wicket in his last game.
