Boland defeated AET Tuskers by seven wickets in the 47th match of the CSA T20 Challenge 2024 while the Lions secured a 43-run win over the Warriors in the 48th game.

Lions moved one spot up to secure the pole position in the latest standings with nine wins and three defeats, picking up 40 points at a net run rate (NRR) of 1.86. Warriors slid to the second rank with nine wins and three defeats, pocketing 39 points.

Dolphins retained their third position in the tally with seven wins, four losses, and a no-result, garnering 32 points while Titans are at the fourth rank with five wins, as many losses, and a no-result, picking up 27 points.

Western Province continue to settle the fifth rank with four wins, six losses, and a no-result, pocketing 23 points while North West Dragons hold the sixth spot with three wins, six losses, and three no-result encounters, gathering 19 points at an NRR of -0.331.

Rocks settled with the seventh rank in the tally with four wins, seven losses, and a no-result, pocketing 19 points at an NRR of -0.705 while Tuskers continue to carry the wooden spoon with two wins, nine losses, and a no-result, accumulating 11 points.

Moving to the details of the 47th clash, AET Tuskers notched up a below-par total of 119/9 in 20 overs, thanks to Kyle Nipper (36) and Michael Erlank (32). Siyabonga Mahima scalped a brilliant three-fer.

In response, Boland finished off the game in only 17.4 overs with seven wickets in hand. Keegan Petersen (57) and Shaun von Berg (37*) were the standout batters in the chase. Mbulelo Budaza's two wickets went in vain.

Delving into the details of the 48th clash, the Lions batted first and secured a total of 152/9 in 20 overs. Opening batter Ryan Rickelton (52) was the star batter in the first innings while Nealan van Heerden scalped a brilliant four-fer.

in reply, the Warriors got bundled out for just 109 runs in 19.1 overs. Beyers Swanepoel was the top-scorer with 22 runs. Wiaan Mulder scalped a beautiful four-fer to turn the game upside down.
