CPL 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after St Kitts & Nevis Patriots vs Guyana Amazon Warriors (Updated) ft. Shimron Hetmyer and Imran Tahir

Guyana Amazon Warriors secured a 40-run win over St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the seventh match of CPL 2024 at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts.

The Warriors opted to bat first after winning the toss. It was one-way traffic as Rahmanullah Gurbaz stitched together an exceptional partnership of 116 runs for the fourth wicket with Shimron Hetmyer.

Gurbaz went on to score 69 with four fours and six sixes while Hetmyer smashed 91 off just 39 balls with 11 sixes. Keemo Paul scored 38 off 14 towards the end to power his team to 266/7.

In response, the Patriots also looked aggressive with captain Andre Fletcher going all guns blazing. He smacked 81 off just 33 balls with four fours and nine sixes while Sherfane Rutherford (34) and Kyle Mayers (28) chipped in as well.

However, with no batter standing out in the middle overs, the Patriots suffered a collapse from 138/2 in 8.4 overs to 175/7 in 13.1 overs. Eventually, they succumbed to 226 all out in 18 overs. Imran Tahir and Gudakesh Motie took three wickets each for the Warriors.

CPL 2024 Most Runs List

Patriots batters Evin Lewis and Kyle Mayers continue to lead the batting charts with 171 and 165 runs respectively. The Falcons' Jewel Andrew maintained third place with 123 runs in four innings.

Fakhar Zaman of the Falcons retained fourth spot with 121 runs from four innings, while the Warriors' Shimron Hetmyer moved up to fifth (110) after his whirlwind 91 in the previous match.

Andre Fletcher, the Patriots skipper, rocketed to sixth place with 107 runs. Knight Riders keeper-batter Nicholas Pooran, meanwhile, slipped from fifth to seventh with 97 runs.

Kings batter Tim Seifert (90) descended from the sixth to the eighth rank, while the Warriors’ keeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz moved up from 28th to ninth with 89 runs. Royals opening batter Quinton de Kock slid from seventh to 10th with 87 runs.

With three wickets in the previous match, Warriors spin sensation Gudakesh Motie moved up from fifth to the top of the CPL 2024 bowling charts with six scalps at 9.83. Falcons medium pacer Shamar Springer slid one spot to second with six wickets at 21.

Patriots pacer Anrich Nortje retained third spot with six wickets at 24.5, while Falcons spinner Imad Wasim slipped from second to fourth with five wickets. Royals pacer Obed McCoy moved up from the seventh to fifth with three scalps at 10.33.

Kings spinner Noor Ahmad descended from fourth to sixth place with three wickets at 12.66. David Wiese rocketed to seventh spot with three wickets at 16.33, while Warriors spinner Imran Tahir moved up to eighth with three wickets at an average of 25.66.

The Warriors' Dwaine Pretorius ascended from 20th to ninth with three scalps at 26.33, while Falcons captain Chris Green slid from sixth to 10th with three wickets at 37.
