CPL 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after St Kitts & Nevis Patriots vs Barbados Royals (Updated) ft. Evin Lewis & Obed McCoy

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and Barbados Royals squared off in the ninth match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 season at Warner Park, Basseterre in St. Kitts on Friday, September 6.

The Patriots batted first and lost their top order inside three overs. However, Mikyle Louis (30) and Wanindu Hasaranga (40) built an impressive 82-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Josh Clarkson scored 24* and Ryan John added 29 off 14 to set the opposition a 154-run target.

Dunith Wellalage picked up three wickets for the Royals while Maheesh Theekshana and Obed McCoy took two apiece.

In reply, the Royals chased down the target with one ball to spare thanks to Wellalage (39), Kadeem Alleyne (30), and several other handy contributions.

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots batters Ewin Lewis (171) and Kyle Mayers (165) are still atop the CPL 2024 batting charts. Fakhar Zaman (159) and Jewel Andrew (125) from Antigua and Barbadua Falcons occupy the next two spots.

Mikyle Louis (117) smashed 30 runs in the last game to secure the fifth spot while Imad Wasim slipped to sixth with the same amount of runs. Shimron Hetmyer is ranked seventh with 110 runs while Keacy Carty and Andre Fletcher dropped to eighth and ninth with 107 runs each. Quinton de Kock scored 19 in his last outing to round out the top 10 with 106 runs.

Shamar Springer and Anrich Nortje are currently the top two wicket-takers in CPL 2024 with seven wickets apiece, while Gudakseh Motie has moved to third place with six wickets.

Obed McCoy took two wickets in the last match to jump up to fourth while Fabian Allen slipped to fifth, Kyle Mayers climbed to sixth, and Imad Wasim dropped to seventh with five wickets each.

Maheesh Theekshana and Dunith Wellalage picked up two and three wickets on Friday to claim the eighth and ninth spots while Sunil Narine descended to 10th with four wickets apiece.
