CPL 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Saint Lucia Kings vs Guyana Amazon Warriors (Updated) ft. Rahmanullah Gurbaz & Gudakesh Motie

Saint Lucia Kings and Guyana Amazon Warriors met in the 10th match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 season at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St. Lucia on Saturday, September 7.

The Warriors opted to bowl first and bundled out the Kings for 100 in 14.3 overs. Matthew Forde top-scored with 31 off 21 for the Kings followed by Johnson Charles (19) and Tim Seifert (12). Gudakesh Motie and Imran Tahir took three wickets each for the Warriors while Keemo Paul took two and Dwaine Pretorius picked up one.

In reply, Tim Robinson (33) and Rahmanullah Gurbaz stitched together an impressive 62-run opening partnership. Gurbaz (47) then teamed up with Shai Hope (11) and built a 29-run stand to put their side in a commanding position. Shimron Hetmyer and Keemo Paul completed the chase in 10 overs with six wickets in hand.

Noor Ahmad claimed a three-wicket haul for Saint Lucia Kings and Alzarri Joseph picked up one wicket.

Evin Lewis and Kyle Mayers are currently atop the CPL 2024 batting charts with 171 and 165 runs, respectively. Fakhar Zaman retained third position with 159 runs.

Meanwhile, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (136) jumped to the fourth spot after scoring 47 runs in the previous game. Jewel Andrew slipped to fifth with 125 runs in five games.

Shimron Hetmyer (118) moved from seventh to sixth while Mikyle Louis (117), Imad Wasim (117), Keacy Carty (107), and Andre Fletcher (107) dropped to the next four spots, respectively.

Gudakesh Motie picked up three wickets on Saturday to claim the top spot on the CPL 2024 bowling charts with nine wickets. Meanwhile, Shamar Springer and Anrich Nortje slipped to the second and third position, respectively, with seven wickets each.

Noor Ahmad and Imran Tahir claimed three wickets each to climb up to fourth and fifth, with six wickets each. Obed McCoy, Fabian Allen, Kyle Mayers, and Imad Wasim descended to the next four spots with five wickets apiece, while Maheesh Theekshana rounds off the top 10 with four wickets.
