Durham defeated Somerset in the 31st match by an innings and six runs. Hampshire won the 32nd match by an innings and 278 runs. Essex defeated Kent in 33rd game by an innings and 96 runs.

The 34th match between Warwickshire and Lancashire ended in a draw. Worcestershire and Nottinghamshire featured in the 35th match, which ended in a draw.

Surrey are still in first place and have won four out of seven games. Essex are still in second position and have four wins to their name in seven outings. Somerset have retained their position in third place and have won two out of seven matches. Hampshire have jumped to fourth place from ninth and have recorded two wins in seven games thus far.

Durham are still the fifth-ranked team and have two wins to their name in seven matches. Nottinghamshire have moved to sixth position from fourth and have managed one win in seven games.

Warwickshire have slipped to seventh place from sixth and are yet to record their first win. Worcestershire have moved to eighth position from seventh and have yet to win their first match.

Lancashire have jumped to ninth place from 10th and have won one out of seven matches. Kent have slipped to 10th position from eighth and have one win to their name in seven games.


Jordan Cox shines with 207 as Kent succumb to an innings defeat

Somerset were bundled out for 171 runs and 88 runs against Durham in the 31st match. Durham scored 265 runs and won the match by an innings and six runs. Ben Stokes took four wickets each in both the innings for Durham.

Hampshire declared their innings on 608 runs for the loss of eight wickets against Surrey in the 32nd game. Surrey scored 127 and 203 runs and lost the match by an innings and 278 runs.

Essex defeated Kent in the 33rd match by an innings and 96 runs. Jordan Cox scored 207 runs in the first innings for Essex and helped the team post a total of 591 runs. Kent were bundled out for 394 and 101 runs in both their innings.

Lancashire made 89 runs for the loss of four wickets in the fourth innings against Warwickshire in the 34th match. The match ended in a draw. Alex Davies remained unbeaten on 127 runs for Warwickshire in the first innings.

Worcestershire were bundled out for 80 runs in the first innings against Nottinghamshire. Nottinghamshire scored 234 runs for the loss of three wickets and the match ended in a draw.
