Former England captain Michael Vaughan has predicted that the visitors will beat Pakistan comprehensively again in the ongoing second Test in Multan on Wednesday, October 16. Vaughan reckoned that the Men in Green would collapse again in the second innings as the pitch behaved similarly to the opening Test, where England won by an innings and 47 runs.

Notably, Shan Masood-led side had put up 556 in the first Test before England declared at 823/7 in their first innings. The hosts were then bundled out for 220 in the second innings on Day 5.

Michael Vaughan wrote on X:

“Early signs this Test could end up the same as the first .. England lead then Pakistan collapse in the 2nd innings ..”
