Indian opening batter Prithvi Shaw shared an Instagram story on Thursday, September 12, to wish his rumored girlfriend Nidhi Tapadia a happy birthday. Tapadia is an actress featured in the popular episodic crime show CID.

Shaw and Tapadia have been rumored to be dating for quite some time now. However, they haven't acknowledged their relationship publically yet. In his birthday wish, the cricketer thanked Tapadia for being a constant support while stating that he was blessed to have her in his life.

The 24-year-old wrote:

Happy birthday JUI. Thank you for being constant support. Blessed to have you."

It is worth mentioning that Nidhi Tapadia has often been spotted cheering for Prithvi Shaw in the stands during the Indian Premier League (IPL). A story was posted on Shaw's official Instagram handle on Valentine's Day in 2023, confirming his relationship with Papadia.

However, the batter later issued a clarification, claiming he hadn't posted the story and someone had edited his photographs. Shaw last played for India during the side's white-ball tour to Sri Lanka in 2021.

He returned to the national team after being picked for a three-match T20I series against New Zealand last year. However, he was benched throughout the series.
