Indian opener Prithvi Shaw is plying his trade for Northamptonshire in the ongoing County Championship Division Two 2024. The cricket star is joined by his rumored girlfriend Nidhhi Tapadiaa in the United Kingdom.

Taking to her official Instagram handle on Monday, September 23, Nidhi shared a story from The Shard, London. The actress was in the company of Shaw and one of her close friends.

She captioned the story:

Prithvi Shaw has struggled for form in the County Championship Division Two. He didn't feature in Northamptonshire's playing XI for their recently concluded fixture against Leicestershire. He has managed 164 runs across nine innings in the red-ball tournament at an average of 18.22.

However, he looked in good touch during the One-Day Cup 2024. The dynamic batter was the highest run-getter for Northamptonshire in the competition, amassing 343 runs from eight innings at an average of 42.87.

"Blessed to have you" - Prithvi Shaw shared a sweet birthday wish for Nidhhi Tapadiaa earlier this month

Nidhhi Tapadiaa rang in her birthday with Prithvi Shaw in the United Kingdom earlier this month. The two have been rumored to be dating for quite some time now.

However, they haven't yet acknowledged their relationship in public. Wishing Nidhhi a happy birthday, here's what Shaw wrote in his Instagram story on September 12:

"Happy birthday JUI. Thank you for being constant support. Blessed to have you."

Northamptonshire are currently placed fourth in the County Championship Divison Two 2024 points table, with 152 points after 13 outings. They will face Yorkshire at Headingley, Leeds, with the match kicking off on Thursday, September 26.

Shaw made his Test debut in 2018, announcing himself on the big stage with a 134-run knock against the West Indies. However, he lost his place in the Indian team after a string of underwhelming outings.
