India pacer Arshdeep Singh has broken into the top 10 of the latest ICC men's T20I rankings for bowlers following returns of 3/14 (3.5) against Bangladesh in the first game of the ongoing three-match series. The left-arm pacer is currently sharing the spot with South African speedster Anrich Nortje, who also has 642 points. The 25-year-old is now the only Indian in the top 10 list of bowlers.

Meanwhile, Washington Sundar surged four places to 35th on the same list after his solitary wicket in the Gwalior T20I. England’s Adil Rashid has consolidated his No.1 spot in the rankings.

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya scored a quickfire 39 not out to climb seven spots to 60th among men's T20I batters. The 30-year-old also took one wicket in the game to move up four spots to third overall on the latest men's T20I rankings for all-rounders. The move saw Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga dropping out from the top five list. Pandya is now only behind England’s Liam Livingstone and Dipendra Singh Airee of Nepal.

Meanwhile, Travis Head, Suryakumar Yadav and Phil Salt consolidated their top three spots in the latest ICC men's T20I rankings for batters. Suryakumar, in particular, scored 29 off 14 balls in India’s seven-wicket win over Bangladesh. The Indian skipper would be keen to reduce his gap with Head as he aims to reclaim his World No. 1 spot.

Yashasvi Jaiswal dropped one spot to fifth after being rested for the T20I series, while Ruturaj Gaikwad stayed ninth.

The Men in Blue will look to make the most of their opportunities with the next two T20Is scheduled on October 9 and 12, respectively.
