Bangladesh took on Nepal in the 37th match of the 2024 T20 World Cup at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown, St Vincent, on Monday, June 16. Nepal won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Bangladesh were bundled out for 106 runs in 19.3 overs. No batter scored more than 20 runs as Sompal Kami, Dipendra Singh, Rohit Paudel, and Sandeep Lamichhane took two wickets each for Nepal.

In reply, only three batters reached double-digit scores for Nepal. They were all out for 85 runs, losing the match by 21 runs. Tanzim Hasan Sakib took four wickets, while Mustafizur Rahman picked up three for Bangladesh. Shakib Al Hasan won the Player of the Match award for his bowling performance.

In the 38th match, the Netherlands won the toss and elected to bowl first against Sri Lanka. Kusal Mendis and Charith Asalanka scored 46 runs each for the Lankans, who posted 201 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Logan van Beek took two wickets for 45 runs in four overs.

In reply, the Netherlands were bundled out for 118 runs and lost the match by 83 runs. Michael Levitt and Scott Edwards were the only batters to score more than 20 runs for the Dutch. Nuwan Thushara was the most successful bowler for Sri Lanka, taking three wickets for 24 runs in 3.4 overs. Asalanka won the Player of the Match award for his batting performance.

Marcus Stoinis is in second place, massing 148 runs in three innings at a strike rate of 189.74.

Travis Head remains in third position with 148 runs in four outings at an average of 49.33.

Aaron Jones is fourth, having scored 141 runs in three games at a strike rate of 160.22.

Brandon McMullen occupies the fifth spot with 140 runs in four matches at a strike rate of 170.73.

George Munsey is sixth with 124 runs in four matches a strike rate of 139.32.

Babar Azam is still in seventh position, amassing 116 runs in four outings at a strike rate of 146.83.

David Warner is eighth with 116 runs in four games at an average of 40.66.

Ibrahim Zadran holds the ninth spot, having amassed 114 runs in three outings at an average of 38.

Mohammad Rizwan remains 10th with 110 runs in four matches at a strike rate of 90.90.
