The 16th match of the T20 World Cup witnessed the Proteas taking over the Dutch at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York on June 8. South Africa won the toss and elected to field first.

The Netherlands scored just 103 with nine wickets falling. Sybrand Engelbrecht was the lone warrior scoring 40 runs off 45 balls. The bowling trio of Nortje, Jansen, and Ottniel were exceptional with figures of 2/19, 2/20, and 4/11 respectively.

In response, South Africa struggled at the start with consecutive wickets falling and scored just 16 runs inside the powerplay with the loss of four wickets. But David Miller was the lone warrior standing tall. He scored an unbeaten 59 off 51 deliveries and powered South Africa victorious with four wickets.

Ibrahim Zadran fills the third position and has scored 114 runs in two games with an average of 57. Andries Gous takes the fourth spot scoring 100 runs in two matches with an average of 50.

Nicholas Kirton stays in the fifth position and has 100 runs to his name in two games at a strike rate of 151.51. David Warner, Michael Jones, Shreyas Movva, Marcus Stoinis, and Navneet Dhaliwal have scored 95,71, 69, 67, 67, and 66 runs. They hold the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th positions, respectively.

Fazalhaq Farooqi is still the leading wicket-taker and has taken nine wickets in two games so far at an average of 2.88.

Anrich Nortje has jumped to second position with six wickets to his name in two matches at an economy of 3.25. Rashid Khan slips one place down to hold the third position having six wickets at an economy of 3.62.

Ottneil Baartman jumps to the fourth spot securing five wickets at an economy of 2.50. Nuwan Thushara slips to the fifth place and has taken five wickets in two games at an average of 7.20.

Logan van Beek takes the sixth position with five wickets to his tally at an economy of 5.31. Mehran Khan has slipped to seventh from fourth and has picked five wickets in two matches at a strike rate of 8.40.
