The second season of Major League Cricket will kick off on Sunday, July 6. MI New York will take on Seattle Orcas in the opening match at Church Street Park, Morrisville.
The tournament will feature six teams: Los Angeles Knight Riders, San Francisco Unicorns, Washington Freedom, Ml New York, Seattle Orcas, and Texas Super Kings.
During MLC 2024, a total of 25 matches are scheduled to take place over a span of 23 days. The tournament will kick off with 21 league games played in a single round-robin format before transitioning to the playoffs.
The initial 15 league games will be held at Church Street Park in Morrisville and Grand Prairie Stadium, with the remaining six league games and playoff matches exclusively at Grand Prairie Stadium. The final match is set to take place on Monday, July 29.
MI New York won the first edition of the Major League Cricket. They defeated Seattle Orcas in the final by seven wickets after chasing down the target of 184 runs. Nicholas Pooran won the Player of the Match award for his batting performance. He scored 137 runs off 56 deliveries and remained unbeaten.

Major League Cricket 2024 will be played at Grand Prairie Stadium and Church Street Park. Tickets for both venues can be purchased through the MLC Ticket Portal. The starting price of tickets at both venues is USD 30.
There are packages available to attend multiple matches. The packages are offered for each location and include regular season matches as well as playoff matches.
Tickets can be added to Apple or Android wallets for scanning at the venue. Alternatively, cricket fans can use the barcode from the ticket confirmation email on their phone or print out the ticket for entry.
