Maharaja Trophy 2024 Telecast Channel: Where to watch and live streaming details in India 

The Maharaja Trophy 2024 is all set to get underway on Thursday, August 15. Bengaluru Blasters and Gulbarga Mystics will face off in the opening game of the tournament followed by the game between Shivamogga Lions and Mysore Warriors on the same day.

Mangalore Dragons and Hubli Tigers are the other teams in the tournament. 30 matches will take place in the league stage followed by the semi-finals on August 30 and 31. The final will be staged on Sunday, September 1. The MI Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will host all 33 matches in the championship.

The Tigers are the defending champions after they beat the Warriors by eight runs in the final last year. Manish Pandey won the Player of the Match award after the skipper of the Tigers scored an unbeaten 23-ball 50. Defending 203, the Warriors could only manage to score 195 for eight.

The Mystics became the champions in the inaugural edition after defeating the Blasters in the final. Last year, they advanced to the semi-final where they lost to the Warriors by 36 runs.

Mayank Agarwal will ply his trade for the Blasters. Karun Nair, Krishnappa Gowtham and Prasidh Krishna form a strong squad for the Warriors. Shreyas Gopal is set to play for the Dragons.

Devdutt Padikkal is likely to hold the key for the Mystics. The focus will also be on the likes of Vijaykumar Vyshak and KC Cariappa. With several star performers, the Maharaja Trophy is expected to be an absolute cracker.
