Kerala Cricket League 2024: Full schedule, squads, match timings and live-streaming details

Kerala Cricket League 2024 is the first edition of the T20 tournament organized by the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA). The tournament is scheduled to start on Monday, September 2, and will conclude on Wednesday, September 18.

A total of six teams will participate in the tournament this season. Each team will face the other five teams twice in the league phase. The top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals.

A total of 33 matches are scheduled to take place in this edition of the tournament at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. The six teams are: Calicut Globstars, Alleppey Ripples, Aries Kollam Sailors, Kochi Blue Tigers, Trivandrum Royals, and Thrissur Titans.

The auction for this edition of the Kerala Cricket League took place on August 10. A total of 168 players participated in the auction. Each team was allowed to pick a maximum of 20 players. M. Sajeevan Akhil became the most expensive player at the auction and was purchased for INR 7.4 lakh by the Trivandrum Royals. The KCA has ropped in actor Mohanlal as the brand ambassador of the tournament.

Each team selected iconic players, including Mohammed Azharuddeen for the Alleppey Ripples, Rohan S Kunnummal for the Calicut Globstars, Basil Thampi for the Kochi Blue Tigers, Sachin Baby for the Kollam Sailors, Vishnu Vinod for the Thrissur Titans, and Abdul Basith for the Trivandrum Royals.
