India's march for the World Test Championship (WTC) Final spot now sees them host New Zealand for a three-match Test series. The opening Test will be played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from October 16-20.

The Rohit Sharma-led side recently demolished Bangladesh in two Tests, in Chennai and Kanpur. With that, India got to 74.24 WTC points percentage, which is the most by any team currently. New Zealand, meanwhile, had their one-off Test against Afghanistan in Greater Noida washed out before losing a two-match Test series against Sri Lanka away from home.

The much-anticipated Test series will kick off in Bengaluru. From there on, the two remaining clashes will be played in the state of Maharashtra. While Pune will host the second Test (Oct 24-28), the iconic Wankhede Stadium will see the proceedings of the third Test (Nov 1-5).

All three Tests will begin at 9:30 am IST (5 pm Wellington timezone), if on schedule. The Lunch break will be taken from 11:30 am IST to 12:10 pm IST. Meanwhile, the Tea break's timing will be from 2:10 pm IST to 2:30 pm IST.
