India dominated Bangladesh in the first two T20Is and are now looking to complete a whitewash in Hyderabad. While Bangladesh would want to end their tour on a high, Team India's form would firmly place them as favorites going into the third T20I.

The spotlight will be on local lad Nitish Kumar Reddy, who had his coming-of-age moment in the previous fixture. The 21-year-old produced a gem of a knock, hammering 74 off 34 while batting at number four.

This T20I series has seen batting-friendly pitches and expect nothing less in this third match as well. Before tonight's T20I, here's a look at the venue's pitch history and T20I records.

Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad Pitch Report

With dark clouds and some prediction of rain, the captain winning the toss would certainly opt to field first. As far as the track in Hyderabad is concerned, it should be a heaven for batters. During IPL 2024, the 200-run barrier was breached as many as seven times in just six games.

The exact pitch report for the match will be broadcast live before the coin toss tonight.

The last time the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium hosted an international T20, Team India clinched the bilateral series against Australia. It was the series-decider in September 2022 when Suryakumar Yadav stole the show to script a remarkable win just before the T20 World Cup 2022.

After being put to bat first, Australia rode on fifties from Cameron Green and Tim David. While Axar Patel took a three-wicket haul, Australia made 186/7. In reply, India lost both KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma early. Then came Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav, who both stitched a partnership of 104 runs. Suryakumar batted at a strike rate of almost 200, while Hardik Pandya finished the proceedings with a 25-run cameo.

Brief scores: India 187/4 (Suryakumar Yadav 69, Daniel Sams 2/33) beat Australia 186/7 (Tim David 54, Axar Patel 3/33) by 6 wickets.
