Full list of Nellai Royal Kings players for TNPL 2024 ft. Arun Karthik and Sonu Yadav

Nellai Royal Kings made their debut in the Tamil Nadu Premier League in 2021. They finished fifth in the first season and made it to the playoffs the following year.

In 2023, the Royal Kings won five out of seven matches and finished in third place. They defeated Siechem Madurai Panthers by four runs in the Eliminator after posting 211 runs for the loss of six wickets.

In the second Qualifier, the Royal Kings defeated the Dindigul Dragons by seven wickets. They chased down the 186-run target on the last delivery of the innings. In the final, the Lyca Kovai Kings defeated the Royal Kings by 104 runs.

The Royal Kings retained 14 players from last season's campaign before entering the TNPL 2024 auction. They bought a total of six players, including Mokit Hariharan RS, for ₹10.2 lakh. He was one of the costliest players in the TNPL auction this year. The Royal Kings shelled out ₹5 lakh to get the services of R Silambarasan. The other four buys were V Gowtham, S Gohul Moorthi, AV Abilash, and R Kirubakar.

Mokit Hariharan has scored 333 runs in 26 matches in TNPL so far at a strike rate of 101.8. R Silambarasan, 31, has taken 41 wickets in 34 matches at an average of 21.2 and will strengthen the team's bowling attack.

Arun Karthik will lead the side once again this year. Karthik is the second-highest run-scorer in TNPL with 1873 runs in 55 matches at an average of 40.72 and a strike rate of 149.12.
