Full list of Bengaluru Blasters players for Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 ft. Mayank Agarwal and Mohsin Khan

The Bengaluru Blasters franchise retained captain Mayank Agarwal for the 2024 edition of the Maharaja Trophy T20 in Bengaluru. Notably, the Blasters finished at the bottom of the six-team points table under Agarwal's leadership in 2023.

They suffered nine defeats, including eight in succession at one stage, out of their 10 league fixtures to become one of the first sides to crash out of the semifinals race.

Regardless, the Blasters seem to have extended their faith in Mayank Agarwal, considering the Indian international was one of only three players to be retained by the franchise for the upcoming T20 event. Apart from Agarwal, the franchise also retained Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) fast bowler Mohsin Khan and young all-round prodigy Shubhang Hegde.

At the auction back in July, the Bengaluru Blasters went on a spending spree for young wicketkeeper-batter L Revanna Chethan and 28-year-old left-arm pacer Lavish Kaushal. In pursuit of quality all-rounders, the franchise also spent big on M Gneshwar Naveen.

Seasoned and explosive middle-order batter Aniruddha Joshi was another all-rounder who found a place in the Blasters' line-up. He will bring an additional off-spin option into the team’s composition.

Prateek Jain, Kranthi Kumar, Varun Kumar HC, Niranjan Naik and Shikhar Shetty were among the other new additions roped in by the franchise at the auction. They will be looking to improve on a dismal run in the 2023 edition of the tournament this year.
