Bhuvneshwar Kumar

RR became the first team to successfully defend a target in IPL 2018 although they were definitely aided by the unlikely summer rain in Jaipur yesterday.

SRH face MI at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium today where they will look to repeat the performance of their last match vs RR.

Which fantasy game are you playing this year? StarPick is the new one on the block, and it has a lot of exciting features along with millions in prize money. You can create your StarPick team here.

SRH are unlikely to change their XI given their dominant performance vs RR and MI are likely to retain the same XI too after Hardik was deemed fit for today’s game.

Here are some of our suggestions for you while picking your squad for today’s game.

5 Best Value for Money players:

1. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (9.9 M) – He did not have a standout game against RR but has a very good record vs MI.

2. Billy Stanlake (7.7 M) – He is 6’8”, can consistently bowl above 145 kmph and was very impressive against RR. A very good option at this price.

3. Hardik Pandya (10.5 M) – He was injured in the last game but has been deemed fit for today’s game. He bowled his quota of overs vs CSK and took three wickets despite being injured. MI will rely on him to deliver with bat and ball.

4. Shikhar Dhawan (9.9 M) – He was the Man of the Match in the first game vs RR and is in great form. He should be one of the first names on the fantasy list for today’s game.

5. Mustafizur Rahman (9.1 M) – He did not have a great game against CSK but that can happen to anyone. He will continue to share the burden of bowling at the death along with Bumrah.

5 Best Uncapped Players:

1. Krunal Pandya (8.5 M) – He delivered with the bat against CSK but was not given an opportunity with the ball. He is effective with the ball too and will get an opportunity soon.

2. Suryakumar Yadav (8.7 M) – He looked in supreme touch vs CSK and is expected to continue at 4 for MI.

3. Ishan Kishan (8.5 M) – He batted well along with Suryakumar Yadav vs CSK and the way he took Tahir on was wonderful to see. Will he repeat the same against Rashid too?

4. Siddharth Kaul (7.6 M) – He was SRH’s best bowler in the last game vs RR. He took 3-24 when SRH last faced MI in the Rajiv Gandhi stadium.

5. Mayank Markande (6.2 M) – The new kid on the block, he almost won MI the last game vs CSK. Spin was expected to be MI’s weak link but if Mayank keeps performing the way he did vs CSK, MI will have no concerns on that front too.
