The seventh edition of the Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament will kick off in Afghanistan on Monday, September 16, 2024. It is a first-class tournament in Afghanistan that promotes red-ball cricket in the country.

A total of four teams, namely Mahe-e-Par Stars, Pamir Legends, Hindukush Strikers, and Maiwand Champions will be competing in the Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament 2024. The competition will be played in the double-round robin and final format.

Two matches will be played on the opening day. The first game will see the Hindukush Strikers lock horns with the Mahe-e-Par Stars. The Maiwand Champions will face the Pamir Legends in the second game.

Each team will face every other side twice in the league stage. The final game of the league stage will begin on October 10. The top two teams will qualify for the final which is scheduled from October 22-25.

Hashmatullah Shahidi will be leading the Mahe-e-Par Stars in the Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament 2024. Afghanistan ODI Vice-Captain Rahmat Shah has been handed the responsibility of leading the Pamir Legends.

The Hindukush Strikers will be led by Abdul Malik whereas Yamin Ahmadzai will be leading the Maiwand Champions. The tournament provides a great opportunity for domestic players to showcase their skills in red-ball cricket.

Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day 2024: Telecast & Live-Streaming Details

The Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament 2024 is all set to kick off on Monday, September 16. A total of 13 games will be played in the competition. The tournament won’t be telecasted in India. The Afghanistan Cricket YouTube channel may live-streaming the matches.
