Ole Miss Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart has been in the spotlight ahead of the Southeastern Conference Media Days. The signal-caller will enter his third season with the Rebels in 2024 and his fourth overall year in college football.

Over the years, it's become an unwritten rule for a program's starting quarterback to be present at Media Days. Dart will represent the Ole Miss at SEC Media Day 1 at the Omni Hotel in Dallas, Texas, on Monday, July 15.

Dart, wide receiver Tre Harris and defensive end Jared Ivey will face questions from the media, along with Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin.

Jaxson Dart will lead the offense for the Ole Miss Rebels in the 2024 season. The quarterback transferred to Ole Miss in 2022 after playing one season at USC.

There were doubts about Dart returning to the Rebels for this third year. However, in January of this year, he confirmed that he would play his senior year at Ole Miss before potentially declaring for the NFL draft.

Dart finished the 2023 season with 3,364 passing yards and 23 touchdowns. He also rushed for 391 yards and eight touchdowns.

In the Peach Bowl against Penn State, Dart threw for 379 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another touchdown as Ole Miss beat the Nittany Lions 38-25.

Last season, the Rebels finished 11-2 but failed to qualify for the College Football Playoff. With Dart as their starting quarterback this season, the Rebels will have hope to make the playoffs as the tournament expands to 12 teams.
