Who are the starting quarterbacks for TCU and Utah?

TCU starting QB:

Josh Hoover will continue his duties as the starting quarterback of the TCU Horned Frogs. Coming out of Rockwall-Heath High School, he committed to play for the Horned Frogs as a part of the 2022 recruiting class.

Hoover redshirted his freshman campaign and made just one appearance for the team. Last season, he played in 10 games and put up 2,206 passing yards and 15 TD passes while helping TCU to a 5-7 overall campaign.

This season, Hoover has put up a commendable performance in six games. He has the second-most touchdowns in the Big 12 and has completed 162-of-236 pass attempts so far. So far this season he has registered 2,007 passing yards and 16 TD passes along with six interceptions to his name.

Utah starting QB:

Cam Rising once again injured himself after making a comeback during last week's loss to Arizona State. On Monday, head coach Kyle Whittingham announced that Rising is out indefinitely with his injury. The responsibility now lies in the hands of freshman Isaac Wilson.

Wilson started three games for the Utes this season when Rising was unavailable due to a dislocated finger and laceration. And in those three games, the freshman put up a decent performance. He has tallied a total of 830 passing yards and six TD passes so far. It is up to him now to help the Utes qualify for bowl games in his debut campaign.
