Caswell was on the field with other Ducks fans to celebrate a famous win against a high-profile opponent. Caswell and Gabriel have been together for a while, with the future NFL quarterback popping the question in September 2024.

Dillon Gabriel proposed to Zo Caswell on September 1st

According to Sports Illustrated, Dillon Gabriel got down on one knee and proposed to his long-term girlfriend Zo Caswell on September 1, 2024. It was a day after he made his Oregon Ducks debut against the Idaho Vandals.

The proposal happened under a tree at Eugene. The scenery holds significance for the couples as they both arrived at Eugene in the spring of 2024 after Gabriel transferred from Oklahoma to Oregon for his last year of collegiate eligibility.

The couple met in Mililani High School, and have been dating since Dillon Gabriel was in UCF. Caswell has been with him every step of the college football journey.

Oregon beat Ohio State by a single point

The Oregon Ducks versus Ohio State Buckeyes game went down to the wire. Both teams were neck to neck for large portions of the game, but at the end of the day, there had to be a winner.

Dillon Gabriel was a huge factor in Oregon's win as the star quarterback threw two TD passes and ran for another late score. Gabriel had 341 passing yards and scrambled for 32 yards on four carries.

Jordan James is another player who had a sensational game against the much-fancied Buckeyes. James had 115 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown for Oregon in front of a record crowd of 61,128 for the first fixture between two teams ranked in the top five at the Autzen Stadium.

Dillon Gabriel is low-key putting up a Heisman Trophy contender-worthy season in Oregon. The former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback has a stat line of 1,790 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, and three picks and has led the Ducks to an unbeaten record after seven weeks.

Next up for Gabriel and the Ducks is a game against an out-of-form Purdue Boilermakers. The Boilermakers have lost five straight games in the 2024 college football season, making them one of the worst teams in the country. It's a game that Gabriel and Co. really should be winning.

In fairness to the Boilermakers, they took the Top 25-ranked Illinois to the wire. The Illini needed a 25-yard touchdown in overtime and some clutch defending to record their first win over Purdue at the Memorial Stadium since 2010.
