We have an intriguing Big Ten Conference battle at SHI Stadium in Week 5. The Washington Huskies will be on the road as they take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Friday.
The Huskies (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) are coming off Saturday's 24-5 home win over the Northwestern Wildcats. Senior quarterback Will Rogers played well as he completed 20-of-28 passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns while also running seven times for 17 yards (2.4 yards per carry).
The Scarlet Knights (3-0, 0-0) are looking for their first 4-0 start since 2012 and are coming off a nailbiting 26-23 road victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies. Senior quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis had a decent showing as he went 16-of-25 for 269 yards and 11 carries for 16 yards (1.5 yards per attempt) on the ground.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights should have the advantage to win for the first time against the Washington Huskies. They can slow the game down and take time off of the clock. Scarlet Knights running back Kyle Monangai has been a force out of the backfield leading the way, but Rutgers has been an excellent rushing team, averaging 5.4 yards per carry this year.
Rutgers is not afraid when they get to third down as they will convert more often than not, going 19-of-36 (52.78%) on third down to go. Their offensive line does not allow Athan Kaliakmanis to get hit often, as he has been sacked three times this season, creating a clean pocket for him to operate.
Washington going cross country on a short week does not provide much hope for them to have a productive offensive game. The Huskies are averaging just 26.5 points in their last two games as well. The under being the better bet makes sense as Washington has not had an over yet this season.
