Washington has suffered an unfortunate number of injuries this season, especially in its defensive line, highlighted by the injury to defensive tackle Jayvon Parker.

Jayvon Parker injury update

Defensive tackle Jayvon Parker ruptured his achilles tendon in Washington's 21-18 loss to Rutgers on September 27th. Parker was unable to play last week in the Huskies' win over Michigan, and he has been ruled out for the rest of the season. So, he will not be available on Saturday against Iowa.

Sebastian Valdez injury update

Valdez also spoke about edge rusher Zach Durfee, but he is less confident about his appearance against the Hawkeyes. Durfee has missed two games this season with a toe injury, first on September 21 against Northwestern, and last Saturday against Michigan. He is expected to be a game-time decision this Saturday.

Iowa injury report week 7

Iowa has a handful of injuries, but one stands out. The Hawkeyes love to use their tight ends in the offense, and an injury to Addison Ostrenga could affect the game plan.

Addison Ostrenga injury update

Tight end Addison Ostrenga was injured in last Saturday's loss to Ohio State. Head coach Kirk Ferentz said he does not see a world where he will be able to play against Washington. In his absence, the Huskies will rely on a trio of tight ends to pick up the slack, Hayden Large, Johnny Pascuzzi, and Zach Ortwerth.

Jayden Montgomery injury update

Linebacker Jayden Montgomery has not yet played a game this season because of an undisclosed injury. He is listed as out on the injury report for the Hawkeyes.

Seth Anderson injury update

Wide receiver Seth Anderson is listed as out on the injury report with an undisclosed injury. Anderson was a contributor on the Hawkeyes last season but has not gotten into a game this year yet because of his injury.
