UCF and Florida will compete in an interstate Week 6 matchup this week, but the injury report shows it will not be two healthy teams. The Gators (2-2) will host the Knights (3-1) on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. ET.

UCF will look to bounce back against its in-state rival after it had its first loss of the season last week, a 48-21 defeat against Colorado. Florida has struggled to find consistency this year but is coming off an open week and a 45-28 win over Mississippi State in the previous week.

The UCF Knights are one of the few teams to not be dealing with many injuries at this point in the season. The Knights are lucky to only have one player listed on their injury report.

Jordan Davis

Tight end Jordan Davis is redshirting this year because of an Achilles injury he suffered in the offseason. Davis tore his Achilles before the season started and was ruled out for the rest of the year. As a result, he used his redshirt eligibility on this season.

Florida injury report Week 6

Florida has been much more affected by injuries this year than UCF. Several players are expected to miss this week's game, with a few others listed as questionable.

Eugene Wilson III

Florida has been without star wide receiver Eugene Wilson III since the Gators' Week 2 45-7 win over Samford. He was a game-time decision against Texas A&M before going through a knee procedure and missing the team's previous matchup against Mississippi State. He has taken reps in practice, but coach Billy Napier did not reveal if he will be available against UCF.

Asa Turner

Defensive back Asa Turner has been missing from the Florida Gators' lineup since the season-opening 41-17 loss against Miami. Napier did not provide much of an update on Turner but told reporters his status would be revealed during warmups.

Ja'Keem Jackson

Defensive back Ja'Keem Jackson is another player who has been missing from the lineup since the Samford game. He has been dealing with an undisclosed injury since that time. He has four tackles this year, including two solo efforts, but is listed as out on the injury report this week.

Aaron Gates

Defensive back Aaron Gates missed last week's game against Mississippi State with an undisclosed injury. Napier did not mention him when discussing the team's injuries, but he is listed as out on the injury report.
