UNLV head coach Barry Odom heaps praise on team after defeating Kansas

In the postgame press conference, Barry Odom did not shy away from expressing his gratitude and praising his team for their performance against the Jayhawks. He added that the Jayhawks were a tough opponent and that his team had to put in their dedication and commitment to stay in the fight (via Yahoo Sports):

"Early on, it was a tough sledding. It was ugly. Kansas is a good team. We had to stay in the fight. The gritiness to get firsts when we needed to... it was a gritty performance by our guys," Odom said.

The Rebels were down by four points in the fourth quarter after Tabor Allen scored a 41-yard field goal. However, with just over a minute left, running back Kylin James scored a touchdown for the Rebels, giving them the win and a 3-0 record.
