Eight top 25 teams are inactive in college football's Week 6, but there are plenty of games left to watch. The week's only ranked versus ranked battle is No. 9 Missouri travelilng to No. 25 Texas A&M.
However, there are still plenty of epic games to monitor in week 6. Here are 10 of the best.

#10 Syracuse at No. 25 UNLV
There's some significant intrigue around this Friday game. UNLV is ranked and playing at home, but there's another issue.
The Rebels are still adjusting to life without quarterback Matthew Sluka, who opted out to preserve his redshirt status and transfer ability. Syracuse is a dangerous 3-1 team that's just a 6.5-point underdog.
#9 Auburn at No. 5 Georgia
How will Georgia react to its first regular-season loss since 2020? That's the question here.
Remember that UGA also struggled in an ugly 13-12 win against Kentucky. Auburn isn't the best opposition, but this game really is about the Bulldogs and their resillience (or lack thereof).
#8 SMU at No. 22 Louisville
Meanwhile, Louisville lost its first game of the season at Notre Dame and now faces 4-1 SMU. The Mustangs are certainly dangerous, and running back Brashard Smith has been a standout, with 509 yards and seven TDs rushing.
Louisville is a seven-point favorite on its home field, but this one could get ineresting in a hurry.
#7 No. 12 Ole Miss at South Carolina
Like Georgia, Ole Miss has to recover from a loss. But the Rebels were humbled by Kentucky and have to head on the road to South Carolina. If Carolina can get QB LaNorris Sellers back from an ankle injury, it could be dangerous as 9.5-point underdogs.
#6 No. 23 Indiana at Northwestern
Indiana's 5-0 start is one of the feel-good stories of the season, and it will look to keep rolling at Northwestern.
The Wildcats shouldn't be too much of a challenge as a 14-point underdog even at home. But as Indiana shifts from "who's that?" to "could they make the College Football Playoff?" every game matters.
#5 No. 15 Clemson at Florida State
Before the season, it seemed like a potential battle for the ACC crown. Instead, in Week 6, FSU is reduced to playing spoiler. The 1-4 Seminoles could ruin 3-1 Clemson's Playoff possibilities. But as a 15-point home underdog, FSU has to find another gear to compete with the Tigers.
#4 No. 8 Miami at California
Miami got incredibly lucky to escape with a win against Virginia Tech. The 5-0 Hurricanes are looking to stay atop the ACC, and a lengthy road trip to Cal could present a stumbling block.
The 3-1 Bears could be dangerous if they can get QB Fernando Mendoza playing well again. The Hurricanes are a 12.5-point road favorite but could come down to the end of the game again seeking a big play.
#3 No. 10 Michigan at Washington
There's an odd matchup when Michigan travels to Washington. Another cross-country trip complicates the situation.
The No. 10 Wolverines keep emerging victorious, winning their last two games despite passing for 118 yards between the two. Washington has struggled to a 3-2 start but finds itself as a 3-2 favorite against the offensively limited Wolverines.
#2 Iowa at No. 3 Ohio State
Ohio State hasn't been challenged yet, but Iowa's defense is always an imposing foe. The Hawkeyes are allowing 272.8 yards per game and 13.8 points per game. If there's anybody in the Big Ten who could slow the Buckeyes offense, Iowa is a likely suspect.
It's entirely possible that nobody can stop OSU. The Buckeyes are averaging 48.8 points and 534.8 yards per game. It will be interesting to see if Iowa can keep this game competitive. With OSU as a 20.5-point favorite, the Hawkeyes have their task cut out for them in Week 6.
#1 No. 9 Missouri at No. 25 Texas A&M
The only ranked battle of Week 6 is another surprising matchup. Missouri has remained perfect at 4-0 but has certainly struggled. The Tigers needed double overtime to dispatch Vanderbilt and beat Boston College by just six.
Meanwhile, A&M is 4-1 but has steadily improved since a season-opening loss to then-No. 7 Notre Dame. The Aggies have won their last two games by six and four points, respectively.
In a close game, anything could happen. A&M is a 1.5-point favorite in the weekend's must-see game.
