Jaxson Dart was one of the many college football players who took part in the just-concluded Manning Passing Academy camp in Thibodaux, Louisiana. The Ole Miss quarterback was invited to the high school athletes’ camp at Nicholls State campus as a counselor.

Dart participated in a couple of drills and challenges during the camp. Most notable was his participation in the “Air It Out” challenge, which involved throwing deep balls. He joined a host of college quarterbacks in the contest, which was eventually won by Notre Dame's Riley Leonard.

After Jaxson Dart's performance was mocked by a fan of Oklahoma safety Billy Bowman, the quarterback clapped back. Commenting on one of his throws in the challenge, Bowman wrote: “Pick six.” Showcasing his confidence ahead of the upcoming season, Dart replied:

Ole Miss will come up against Oklahoma next season

Jaxson Dart and Billy Bowman will square up against one another in the 2024 college football season. Ole Miss has a date at home with Oklahoma on Oct. 26, and it will be a good avenue to settle the score between both players.

Oklahoma will be transitioning to the Southeastern Conference next season after the program's long year in the Big 12. Without a doubt, it will be a much more difficult season for the Sooners in 2024 as they will be competing in a much tougher conference than they are used to.

Jaxson Dart will return to Ole Miss as the starting quarterback next season after leading the Rebels to a successful 2023 season. Billy Bowman, on the other hand, will once again be a starter in 2024 for Oklahoma after returning for his senior season. Save for unforeseen circumstances, the two will square up.

Huge responsibility on Jaxson Dart in 2024

Ahead of his final season of eligibility in college football, Jaxson Dart has a huge responsibility on him to fulfill. The quarterback will lead Ole Miss to a season where many are expecting a lot.

Following the success recorded at the program since Lane Kiffin took over, the Rebels are expected to reach a new height next season. The College Football Playoff is getting expanded to 12 teams, and Ole Miss is widely touted to play in the competition for the first time.

Without a doubt, a lot depends on Dart next season at Ole Miss. His performance is key to the team's success, and a lot of eyes will be on him.
