Rutgers vs Nebraska: Head-to-Head

This will be the seventh time the two programs will face each other. Nebraska has won all six previous matchups. The last time the two teams faced each other was in October 2022, when the Cornhuskers defeated the Scarlet Knights 14-13.

Dylan Raiola will lead the Cornhuskers offense on Saturday. He has thrown for 1,224 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions on 100 of 142 pass attempts. He has been sacked eight times thus far. In the last game against the Purdue Boilermakers, Raiola passed for 257 yards, one touchdown and no interception on 17 of 27 attempts.

Meanwhile, the Scarlet Knights offense will be led by Athan Kaliakmanis, the program's starting quarterback, who transferred from Minnesota. So far, Kaliakmanis has passed for 761 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception on 61.5% pass completion. In his last game against Washington, Kaliakmanis passed for 115 yards on 14-of-24 attempts and threw for one touchdown.

Both quarterbacks will have key players who could turn the game on its heads. For Raiola, a lot will depend on his chemistry with Isaiah Neyor, who leads all Nebraska winners with 17 receptions for 291 yards with four touchdowns.

For Kaliakmanis, getting the ball to Kyle Monangia more often can be important. The running back leads all rushers with 589 yards and six touchdowns.
