Washington was on the road in Week 7 to play Iowa. It marked the first time since 1964 that the Huskies made a trip to Iowa City to play their new conference rival, the Hawkeyes.

The Huskies shocked the college football world last week with a 27-17 victory over Michigan, delivering a standout performance that grabbed national attention. It was a rematch of last season’s national championship game and Washington got its revenge.

The Hawkeyes, on the other hand, have struggled early in the season, with their latest setback being a 35-7 loss to Ohio State in Columbus last week. The defeat highlighted the challenges Iowa has faced so far, making the possibility of returning to the Big Ten title game difficult.
