Matthew McConaughey, the University of Texas' self-proclaimed "Minister of Culture," is rallying Longhorns fans ahead of their monumental clash against the Georgia Bulldogs. With Texas sitting undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the nation, McConaughey is amping up the energy for the night game at Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium.

In a social media video, McConaughey called the No. 5 Bulldogs a “little team,” but warned the Longhorns not to take them lightly.

"We got a little team called the Georgia Bulldogs coming to Darrel K. Royal Memorial Stadium — that’s a night game. Oh, place is gonna be packed," the "Interstellar" actor said.

"This is a big test. That’s the team to beat. If we go out there and handle it and continue to play against how good we can be, that’s who I need them to play against, while playing them and giving them the full respect," he continued.

The Longhorns are gearing up for their biggest test since joining the SEC, with Georgia having won two national titles in recent years. Texas superfan McConaughey also joked that the 6:30 p.m. kickoff will give fans plenty of time to get “properly lubricated,” promising an electric atmosphere.

"There’s no time for lull. There’s no time for exhale. We obviously will not need to be hyped up. We will be way up for this game. We just have to play, as Coach Sarkisian says, play smart, intelligent, and then, very violent."

It’s Texas versus Georgia, and McConaughey’s message is loud and clear: "Hook ‘em, Horns!"

Texas (6-0, 2-0) is riding high after a statement win over reigning champions Michigan in September. But the Longhorns will need to bring their A-game to fend off Georgia.

Texas Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian is ready for Georgia Bulldogs test

Longhorns coach is ready for the biggest season test as his undefeated squad faces Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs. Texas has dominated both sides of the ball in its debut SEC season and leads the nation in defense, allowing only 6.3 points per game.

Sarkisian knows what’s at stake, calling each SEC game a championship-level showdown.

"Any blemish on your record could knock you out of that championship game," he said. Facing Georgia, Sarkisian stressed, " They have somewhat been the standard of college football for the last six or seven years. The moment won’t be too big for them."

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers is back from injury, leading an offense that averages 43.2 points per game. The Bulldogs, however, are no strangers to tough competition. This clash between SEC powerhouses is not just a battle for conference supremacy—it could also shape the College Football Playoff race.
