Caleb Nix is a freshman safety at the University of Clemson. On the other hand, Tez Johnson, who was adopted by the Nix family at age 15, followed in the footsteps of his adoptive brother and is a wide receiver with the Oregon Ducks.

Bo Nix started his college days at Auburn, but it was in his last two seasons at Oregon that he came into his own. He threw for 4,508 yards in his last year, with 45 touchdown passes and just three interceptions. All of those were career-high numbers.

Bo Nix strives to improve with experience in NFL

Bo Nix, in his first appearance as a Bronco, said, "Experience is one of the best teachers." He strives to improve along the way.

"Whatever happens, I know that I’m around a great support staff; I’m around great coaches who have been doing this at a high level for a very long time, I’m going to be able to take it all in, learn as much as I possibly can, grow as much as I possibly can, so I can give that to my teammates, and I can give that to this organization," he added.

Nix is set to fight for his starting position with former New York Jets and BYU Cougars quarterback Zach Wilson.

Wilson, who was the second overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, had a rough start over at East Rutheford, New Jersey, with the Jets. The Broncos traded for him on April 23rd, days before drafting Nix.
