The Utah Utes, led by quarterback Cam Rising, will lock horns with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, led by quarterback Alan Bowman, in Week 4 of college football action. The matchup is one of the weekend's premier games and also holds a unique distinction.

Rising and Bowman are both seventh-year seniors and by far the oldest players in college football. The latter was granted an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA after missing the 2019 season with an injury while playing for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

The former missed the whole of the 2023 season due to an ACL and MCL tear, which granted him an extra year of eligibility alongside influential tight end Brant Kuithe.

In a quirky stat posted by "College Sports Only" on X, Cam Rising and Alan Bowman's combined ages (49) will be higher than that of Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams and Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (44) when they play in the NFL on Sunday.

College football fans on X had quite a bit of fun with that statistic posting hilarious memes. Here are the top five:

Cam Rising will be available against Oklahoma State

After missing out on a whole season of college football due to injury, Utah Utes quarterback Cam Rising started the first two games of the 2024 season. However, he injured his hand in the clash against the Baylor Bears when he ran into water coolers while making a tackle.

He dressed up and warmed up for the game against the Utah State Aggies, although ultimately he did not play. Utes wide receiver Dorian Singer revealed to reporters that the influential quarterback would be fit to face the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Backup quarterback Isaac Wilson started the game against the Aggies, throwing for 239 yards, resulting in three touchdowns and one interception in the 38-21 win to ably deputize for the injured Rising.

Utah fans and coach Kyle Whittingham will be desperate for Cam Rising to stay healthy as he led the Utes to back-to-back Pac-12 championship wins in 2021 and 2022 while registering 5,527 yards, 46 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
