Rashad Amos committed to Colorado via the transfer portal on April 26 after playing the previous season at Miami (OH). However, the running back flipped his commitment to Ole Miss on Saturday, adding further depth to Lane Kiffin's team in the offensive position.

He took a low-key visit to Ole Miss earlier this week before committing to the university on Saturday. This marks Amos’ second transfer flip this offseason. He committed to Mississippi State in mid-April before flipping to Colorado just about two weeks later.

Rashad Amos believes Ole Miss is his best option

Following his decision to commit to Ole Miss, Rashad Amos believes Lane Kiffin’s team is the best fit for him. He announced his commitment on social media and noted that finding the best team wasn't easy.

“I’d like to thank everybody for the support," Amos said. "This has not been for the faint-hearted. I’d like to thank all of the coaches that have poured into me throughout this process. I really appreciate it.
“Finding the best fit isn’t a simple task on or off the field. I’ve had a lot to consider thus far. So after speaking on that I would like to decommit from Colorado! Thank you to everyone.”

His flip makes Colorado's running back room slimmer following the players' exodus from the program this offseason. The Buffaloes are now left with only three scholarship running backs: Ohio State transfer Dallan Hayden, former walk-on Charlie Offerdahl and freshman Micah Welch.
