DJ Uiagalelei injury update

DJ Uiagalelei picked up an injury last weekend in Florida State's game against BYU. The quarterback left the game in the fourth quarter after suffering a broken finger. According to college football insider Pete Thamel, he is expected to be out of action for an extended period.

“Sources: Florida State QB DJ Uiagalelei is undergoing testing to figure out options for a broken finger on his throwing hand, which he suffered against SMU,” Thamel wrote on X. “He’s expected to miss the next few weeks, but a clear timeline will come with further evaluation.”

Uiagalelei will not be available in Florida State's Week 6 games against his former school Clemson on Saturday. Backup option Brock Glenn is expected to start for the Seminoles against the Tigers Week 6 in the absence of the Oregon State transfer.
