Jaxson Dart and the Ole Miss Rebels played against the Kentucky Wildcats in Week 5 of the college football season. What was predicted to be an easy win turned out to be heartbreaking for the Lane Kiffin-led squad as the Rebels were defeated 20-17 at the SEC opener.
Ole Miss took an early 7-0 lead with a 1-yard rushing TD by Henry Parrish Jr., then Kentucky responded with a field goal to make it 7-3 at halftime. The game was tied 10-10 in the third quarter with a field goal but Ole Miss regained the lead 17-13 in the third quarter on a 48-yard TD pass. Kentucky scored a late 4th quarter TD to take a 20-17 lead.
The loss plucked a painful nerve for Rebels fans. Some of them rushed to Jaxson Dart's former girlfriend, Lola Sexton's Instagram DM's, to express their anger at the loss and also to blame her for ruining their "king's perfect season." One of the messages read:

Why did Jaxson Dart and Lola Sexton break up?
Jaxson Dart and Sexton dated each other from their time in Corner Canyon High School in Utah to well into their college years. However, a viral video made the rounds on the internet where a friend of Lola revealed that Dart allegedly cheated on her.
In a TikTok video, Lola can be seen hanging out with a friend. The video was captioned:
“Just a casual coffee date finding out her boyfriend cheated on her for the last year.”
The breakup rumors were later confirmed by Sexton earlier in September as she revealed her side of the story in a viral TikTok video. She said:
"I really didn’t want to have to do this, but some stuff has been brought to my attention and I just feel like I have to clear the air and share my side of the story."
"So yes, he was cheating on me for a little over a year and a half, from what I know. I found out from an anonymous text message, whoever you are, thank you. Thank you so much."
Sexton then wished Dart had a "good, healthy season" and wanted to move on from the relationship.
