Lane Kiffin has a sad reaction to Baby Gronk flipping

Baby Gronk has made yet another flip and Lane Kiffin is not happy with the development. The internet sensation, whose real name is Madden San Miguel, only committed to Ole Miss last month. However, he's now flipped his commitment to Dabo Swinney’s Clemson.

The Tigers now join the long list of college football programs the young sensation has committed to since he began the saga. The list includes reputable football programs such as Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Florida, Auburn, Ohio State, Ole Miss, LSU, and a host of others.

The Rebels' head coach Lane Kiffin played along with the farcical commitment of Baby Gronk. In his recent post on X following the announcement of the flip, the coach had a sad emoji to express his reaction to the news. The whole story was pretty comical considering Kiffin's witty use of social media.

Baby Gronks commitment stunt continues online

Baby Gronk has over the past year given his commitment to a host of college football programs across the country, as publicity stunts. His first commitment, announced online in 2021, was to Oregon. However, this decision was short-lived as he frequently changed his college plans.

In July 2023, he announced a commitment to LSU, only to quickly withdraw it, blaming a graphic designer for mistakenly using the wrong jersey in the announcement. This incident sparked a flurry of reactions online, especially after he met LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne during his visit to the university campus.

Clemson is the latest school he is giving his commitment to and it is to be seen which school is next when he eventually flips his commitment again. It's worth noting that Baby Gronk belongs to the class of 2031.

Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss prepares for a historic season

Ahead of the 2024 college football season, there are a whole lot of expectations on Lane Kiffin and his Ole Miss team. The Rebels have been one of the most improved college football teams in the last few years and they are touted for something big in the upcoming season.

Ole Miss finished ninth in the final AP Poll Top 25 ranking with an incredible 11-2 record. They appeared in the Peach Bowl where they defeated Penn State to record their first New Year's Six bowl game win under Lane Kiffin. This has presented them as a contender for next season.

With the College Football Playoff expanding to 12 teams in the upcoming season, the Rebels are touted to make the postseason tournament for the first time. Without a doubt, this 2024 college football season could be a historic one for Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin wants to ensure that.
