In one of the best conference matchups tonight, Big Ten's Washington Huskies took on the No. 10 Michigan Wolverines at Husky Stadium on Saturday. Alex Orji started for the Wolverines, while Will Rogers was the starting quarterback of the Huskies.

Michigan vs Washington Game Summary

The Washington Huskies lived up to the pre-game expectation. Sherrone Moore's Wolverines did rally back in the third quarter but a 13-point fourth quarter for Washington was good enough to edge out a 27-17 victory.

1st Quarter:

Washington struck first with a sustained touchdown drive:

2:38: W. Rogers threw a 3-yard TD pass to D. Boston (G. Gross Kick) to cap off a 13-play, 83-yard drive that lasted over five minutes.

Score at the end of the 1st quarter: Washington 7, Michigan 0

2nd Quarter:

Washington extended their lead early in the second quarter:

9:38: W. Rogers connected with G. Jackson for a 16-yard TD pass (G. Gross Kick), completing a quick 4-play, 74-yard drive.

Michigan responded with a long touchdown run:

5:25: D. Edwards broke free for a 39-yard TD run (D. Zvada Kick), capping off a 7-play, 75-yard drive that took over four minutes.

Michigan added a field goal before halftime: 1:49:
