Eli Manning heaps praise on Jaxson Dart

Following the conclusion of The Manning Passing Academy, former NFL quarterback Eli Manning heaped praise on Jaxson Dart.

Manning said that he wasn't too familiar with Dart until the event and was impressed with his skills.

“I’ve been to games, and I’d seen him briefly, but it was the first time really getting to sit down with him, hang out with him, go on stage, and tell some stories. I enjoyed his personality," Manning said, via Rebel Walk.
"I was able to take some lighthearted digs at him, and he reciprocated and did the same with me, which is fun, that’s what it’s all about, it kind of makes it special for the group. I got to hang with him last night and eat dinner with him, he seems like a great kid and has a good head on his shoulders. I’m excited about his future," Manning added.

Manning is also expecting Dart to have a lot of success in 2024, as it's his third year as a starting quarterback.

"I think the opportunity to be a three-year starter going into his final year is such a great advantage. You know, just knowing the system, having been there a long time, you get to grow as a leader, know what plays you like, what you need to work on," Manning added.

Last season, Dart went 233-for-358 for 3,364 yards for 23 touchdowns and five interceptions. Entering the 2024 season, Dart has the fourth-best odds of winning the Heisman at +1500, according to DraftKings.
