Kamara was with the Volunteers for two seasons between 2015 and 2016. During those seasons, he recorded 1,294 rushing yards and scored 16 touchdowns, alongside 683 receiving yards and seven touchdown catches.

Kamara set the school record for rushing yards against the Texas A&M Aggies in 2016, and was the second Volunteer in history (the first being Jamal Lewis) to record 100 yards on the ground and in recieving yards in the same game.

He now plays for the New Orleans Saints in the NFL, being one of the top running backs in the league in recent years.

Candace Parker is generally seen as one of the greatest women's basketball players in history and one of the top WNBA players.

She played her basketball with the Tennessee Lady Volunteers, where she took them to two consecutive national championships in 2007 and 2008.

Since then, she has been a WNBA champion on three occasions and made the All-Star Game on seven occasions.

Also spotted at the game was former NFL star Jason Witten and basketball player Chris Lofton.

Tennessee coach Josh Heupel talks about the rivalry

Tennessee coach Josh Heupel is looking forward to another episode in the iconic rivalry between the Volunteers and Alabama.

This will be the first time that these two teams have met without legendary Alabama coach Nick Saban on the sidelines in 17 years.

Heupel spoke about the rivalry and the prospect of facing a Saban less Crimson Tide this week.

"This rivalry has been around a long time before Nick Saban or I was a part of it. The magnitude of this rivalry is the historical nature and what it has meant inside of this league.”

The last time these two teams met was in 2022. The Volunteers came into the game undefeated and were hoping to defeat the Crimson Tide for the first time in 15 meetings.

This is something that they were able to do. A game-winning field goal from Volunteers kicker Chase McGrath was enough to give Tennessee an iconic 52-49 win over their rival.

Two years later, Tennessee will be hoping to replicate their success. A victory here would be able to increase their chances of making the CFP.
