Lane Kiffin and the No. 9-ranked Ole Miss Rebels (5-1, 1-1 SEC) are set to face the No. 13-ranked LSU Tigers (4-1, 1-0) in Baton Rouge this weekend in an SEC clash. Availability will be a big concern as there are more than 10 players on the latest injury report for both schools.

Ole Miss' injury report features some familiar faces as 14 players were listed for in Week 6 versus South Carolina. Last week's injury report raised concerns after clips surfaced of Ole Miss backup running back Matt Jones allegedly faking an injury during the Ole Miss-Kentucky game.

The clip caught the attention of many, including college football analysts Andy Staples and Ari Wasserman, who discussed it on their show "Andy & Ari" on Thursday along with former LSU Tiger T-Bob Herbert.

Herbert talked about a similar strategy used by former LSU coach Les Miles during his time with the Tigers.

"I mean, we used to practice that back in the day," Herbert said. "I remember in the Les Miles era, we'd be getting ready for Oregon and other teams like that. I can't remember what the signal was. Or if you had an equipment malfunction but they didn't want you to be off for a play. We used to [fake injuries]. I don't know, that's a hard thing to police."

Herbert played at LSU from 2007 to 2011. He appeared in 42 games, including 26 starts.

Lane Kiffin's Rebels Open as 3.5-point Favorites versus LSU

Sportsbooks are respecting the Rebels entering this highly-anticipated SEC matchup, as they enter the game as 3.5-point favorites on the road. The Tigers being an underdog at home is strange, especially given that the Rebels haven't beaten them in Baton Rouge since the 2008 season.

The Tigers have won four straight games since their season-opening loss at the hands of the USC Trojans and will have another big test this weekend.

The Rebels looked impressive through their first four games and entered Week 5 with a 4-0 record before slipping versus Kentucky at home. They lost 20-17 to the Wildcats in a historic upset.

This will likely be one of the most-watched games of a loaded Week 7 college football slate that features three top 25 matchups among many other highly-anticipated games.
