Lane Kiffin got a major shock two years ago, on July 20, 2022, after one of his daughters, Presley, went on a lavish shopping spree. In a hilarious TikTok moment, Kiffin was caught checking his pulse after hearing the total bill.

The viral clip, posted by his other daughter, Landry, showed Lane asking Presley how much she spent.

When she was unsure, Landry chimed in with the exact figure - $721. Tagging the video, Kiffin tweeted:

One week later, Kiffin appeared on ESPN’s 'First Take', where he joked about the situation, saying:

“That just shows daughters being daughters. I asked the one daughter what she spent when she came with the bag and she said 'I don't know', which is typical. The other daughter made sure to say exactly what she had spent. So, we were half joking too.”

The internet had a field day with the clip, with fans loving Kiffin’s relatable dad moment.

Presley Kiffin backed dad Lane Kiffin's team after Kentucky loss

Lane Kiffin’s daughter is 100% behind her dad’s effort to make Ole Miss a powerhouse football program. However, the Rebels have not been doing well, having lost a tough game to Kentucky in Week 5.

The Wildcats' last-minute touchdown sealed a 20-17 win, handing the Ole Miss coach his first loss of the season. However, Presley tried to keep her dad’s spirits high. She took to Instagram, sharing photos with a caption that read:

"We’ll get 'em next time"

Coach Kiffin also echoed his daughter’s positive outlook by writing:

"I'm not going to overreact in loss, just like I don't overreact in a tight win. You can't let people hang around, especially in this conference."

Unfortunately, the Rebels faced another setback in Week 7, falling 29-26 to the LSU Tigers in overtime. With a 5-2 record, Ole Miss is in a tough spot for playoff contention, but there's still a glimmer of hope.

If the Rebels can run the table and secure big wins over Georgia and Oklahoma, a 10-2 finish might be enough to sneak into the College Football Playoff.
