The Southeastern Conference has one of the top games between two ranked programs in the early slate of Week 6 action as the No. 9 Missouri Tigers head to Kyle Field to face off against the No. 25 Texas A&M Aggies. Both teams look outstanding heading into the matchup, which should prove to be an entertaining game.

The Tigers (4-0, 1-0 SEC) will hope to remain undefeated as they are coming off a tough 30-27 double-overtime home win over the Vanderbilt Commodores to avoid the upset, but were off in Week 5. The Aggies, meanwhile, (4-1, 2-0) are on a four-game winning streak right now after Saturday's 21-17 home victory against the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Both teams are playing at a great level up to this point of the regular season. Here's a closer look at both programs and what the final score could look like.

Missouri vs. Texas A&M score prediction Week 6

Both teams are coming off consecutive one-possession home wins and the Tigers have been able to get the advantage of extra rest as they did not play in Week 5. Sports Illustrated's SP+ has this game projected to see Missouri secure a 29-24 win on the road with a 63% chance of victory, according to their model.

This makes sense as the Aggies are 1-4 against the spread this season and the Tigers have covered the spread in two of their previous three games against one another. When looking at these teams right now, Missouri is third in college football with 219.0 total yards against and limiting opposing quarterbacks to just 50.0 completion percentage throughout the season.

The Texas A&M offense has been outstanding on the ground, running for 231.6 yards per game but Missouri's rush defense is holding teams to 91.8 rushing yards per game. The Tigers are going to force quarterback Marcel Reed to throw the football and he has not shown the ability to do so up to this point in the season.

Missouri vs. Texas A&M betting tips

If you are looking at the spread, which is currently sitting with Texas A&M being favored by 2.5 points at home at the time of writing, the Missouri Tigers are the play here. The SP+ model has this game being a five-point difference so we are getting a bit of cushion compared to what the model is suggesting betting on the underdog.
