As per reports, LaNorris Sellers will play against Ole Miss on Saturday. The quarterback appears to have healed from an ankle injury that kept him out in Week 4.

South Carolina had an off in Week 5, and coach Shane Beamer said Sellers used the break to recover. He was also named the QB1 for the Gamecocks when the team released its roster depth chart on Monday. Sellers also practiced on Wednesday, which means he is in line to return against the Rebels this weekend.

As per reports, Sellers sprained his ankle just before halftime in the Week 3 game against LSU. He did not return for the second half.

Sellers subsequently missed South Carolina's Week 4 matchup against Akron due to the injury. It will be interesting to see if he starts in Week 6 against Ole Miss.

In three appearances this season, Sellers has completed 29 of 53 passes for 393 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He has also rushed for 145 yards on 40 carries and scored three touchdowns.
