As things stand, Jack Tuttle is unlikely to play against Washington in Week 6. The Michigan quarterback is questionable to feature on Sunday due to an elbow injury.

Per reports, Michigan is expected to start Alex Orji against Washington but it remains to be seen whether Tuttle will be a backup option on the Wolverines roster.

Tuttle is reportedly recovering from a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. He suffered the injury in the offseason but has had a few setbacks in the past few weeks, forcing him to remain on the sidelines.

Nonetheless, Tuttle's rehab has been progressing well, as per Michigan coach Sherrone Moore. On Monday, Moore provided an update on Tuttle.

"Jack's throwing more this week and looks like he'll be ready to go," Moore said.

However, there's no sign that Tuttle will play this week against Washington.

Michigan's offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell also provided an update on Tuttle this week.

"I’m not going to fully disclose on injuries, but Jack is progressing in a very, very good manner, and he’s getting some reps here and there." Campbell said.
