The Heisman Trophy is awarded annually to the top player in college football. The race this year has been interesting with the early frontrunner Quinn Ewers going down with an injury in Week 3. Now that Week 4 is in the books, the odds have been updated again.

Updated Heisman Trophy odds after college football Week 4

Through four weeks of the college football season, a few players have emerged as the favorites for the Heisman Trophy. These are the players who have the best odds according to FanDuel.

#1 Cameron Ward

Cameron Ward, the quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes, is the early favorite to win the Heisman Trophy now that Quinn Ewers is injured with +350 odds. Ward has consistently put together good performances this season, leading his team to a 4-0 record.

He threw for the most yards of his season in the game this week against South Florida. He completed 24 of 34 passes for 404 yards and threw three touchdown passes. Overall this season, he has completed 89 of 123 passing attempts for 1,439 yards and 14 touchdowns.

#2 Jaxson Dart

Jaxson Dart, the quarterback for the Ole Miss Rebels, has the second-highest odds to win the Heisman Trophy at +500. He has led his team to a 4-0 record early in the season and has been incredibly consistent.

Dart has thrown for between 377 and 418 yards in all four games this season. In total, he has completed 95 of 119 passing attempts for 1,554 passing yards and 12 touchdowns. He also has three rushing touchdowns.

#3 Jalen Milroe

Quarterback Jalen Milroe and the Alabama Crimson Tide had an open week in Week 4, but he remains third in odds to win the Heisman at +750. Milroe is one of the best rushing quarterbacks in the country, rushing for two touchdowns in all three of his games. He also has 590 passing yards and eight passing touchdowns.

#4 Nico Iamaleava

In four games this season, quarterback Nico Iamaleava of the Tennessee Volunteers has completed 61 of 88 passes and thrown for 892 yards and seven touchdowns. Iamaleava increased his Heisman Trophy odds to +1000 by getting a win over the number 15 ranked Oklahoma Sooners.

#5 Dillon Gabriel

Quarterback Dillon Gabriel of the Oregon Ducks rounds out the top five with +1200 Heisman odds. His Ducks had an open week this week, so nothing changed for him. He has completed 79 of 94 passing attempts for 914 yards and six passing touchdowns in three games this season.
